GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION IN BRIDGEFEST 2017
Bridgefest® 2017 will be a series of events presented by local venues and promoters that celebrate folk, jazz and Newport’s musical community. Participating events will be listed on the Bridgefest® website and included in advertising and social media promoting Bridgefest®.
Local clubs, theaters, museums, restaurants and other venues are invited to submit ideas for events. Artists interested in being a part of Bridgefest® need to find a local venue to present them. Inquiries received from Artists will be passed on to participating venues for their consideration.
The event submission deadline is June 1, 2017. Accepted event hosts will be asked to sign a license agreement and will be required to submit proof of insurance coverage naming Bridgefest® and Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc. as additional insured. Events can be free or paid admission and must take place in Newport County between Monday, July 31st and Thursday, August 3rd.
Applicants will be notified within five business days if their event has been accepted.
